supplements anyone

does anyone have any suggestions for supplements-particularly to assist recovery after long runs? my husband has been drinking myoplex and that’s helped him immensely-but i’m looking for something that won’t necessarily bulk me up, just help my muscles recover stronger. any suggestions would be muchly appreciated!

Monday and Tuesday-Off to a Good Start

I haven’t been able to post as often as I’d like lately because things are just crazy busy. But, I am still making sure that I get my workouts in. So, Monday I did my total body weight training workout. No run, as it was my running rest day. Tuesday was good also-I did 3 miles in 28:57, so that felt good. I also did another total body workout, but a quick one this time. You can check it out at http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/plateau-busters. It’s quick but feels pretty effective.

Today I’ve got a 4 mile run and I’m also going mountain biking this afternoon after work. Should be fun! I’ll check in later!
