Training diary-June 5

Goal today was to run 3miles and go to the gym. Got the running 3 miles part out of the way, but man I felt like crap. Totally felt like I had 20 lb. weights in each of my shoes. And the frustrating part is, it’s only 3 miles. I mean really-3 little, puny miles. I swear I do better when I’m going to be out there for 6,7, or 8 miles.

Oh yea part of the problem was that I ate a large lunch before. Even though it was a couple hours prior to my run, I still felt sluggish because of that. Note to self-go back to lunch consisting of protein bar, banana, almonds, and cheese.

Let’s hope tomorrow’s run and the long run this weekend go better!
